Leaf Sheep Sea Slug Hard Enamel Pin
One of everyone's favorite Sea Slugs - the LEAF (Costasiella kuroshimae)! We love these little Nudis and I bet you do too. These little Sea Slugs are actually capable of a chemical process called kleptoplasty, in which they retain the chloroplasts from algae, which they eat. Absorbing these chloroplasts enables them to indirectly perform photosynthesis! This gives them a "glow" under water as they become bioluminescent.
